It all started in 1979. In 1979, interior decorator Peter Gammeter, together with his wife and seamstress Elisabeth Gammeter, founded the interior design business Gammeter Wohngestaltung. In 2000, GAW became a public limited company (AG), in 2001 the upholstery workshop was added, in 2007 the baton was passed to their son Roland Gammeter, and in 2009, the parquet studio was significantly expanded.

In 2011, the relocation of the warehouse and upholstery workshop was on the agenda. In 2012, GAW took over the upholstery business of Wideg AG. In 2013, the team of installers was expanded to 10 employees. In 2014, the focus was on maintaining high value standards, and in 2015, the renovation and remodeling in Meilen became a key priority. At the end of 2017, we moved the company to Uetikon am See. Since then, we have enjoyed spacious workspaces and an attractive showroom covering over 200 m².
We now have 14 employees and countless satisfied customers.
